You will find your perfect puppy!! I did not spend thousands of dollars, and I found my perfect baby! I got Marley from a wonderful breeder for $400. Yes to me $400 is still a bit much, but it is WAY better than $2500. He was also a very healthy puppy, and the breeder even called me to check up on him. And he is not a large yorkie either. I think someone mentioned that you can get a yorkie for a cheaper price but they will be large, that is not true. Marley is around 4lbs. So just wait, do your research and your puppy will come. Try looking in your local adds, see if this makes a difference. Good Luck
And as far reporting puppy mills, can you contact your local news station? Will they call the puppy mills out? I don't know, but I think if more people know about it the more likely the problem will get sloved.
