I am sorry about what happened to your son..
But PLEASE DO NOT BLAME THE BREED!! It is because the dog that your friend has is not well trained. It has nothing to do with the breed.

My 3 girls are pure breed Yorkies and they are the sweetest, most gentle, most loving little ones.
I am really offended that you blame the breed instead of looking deeper into this situation..
