These little guys have the same independent big dog attitudes as a yorkies three times their size. Because it is small don't think it is not mighty!!
It is a misconception that they are fragile. Most are not at all nd open fontanels are rather common in yorkies and usually close up or get much smaller as they grow up. They ]make perfect travel companions and service dogs and they feel safest and are happiest when they are with their human....just as your yorkies are.
