Not sure what ages your pups are, nor how much crate time they have. I have two female, 6 months apart. Chloe outweighs Lacey by 4 lbs but Lacey can give her a fit sometimes. She'll pull on her ears, tail, legs, you name it and Chloe will put up with it a lot but at night, they go to their own separate crate, side by side until morning. Not only do they like their own private time, but they enjoy each other much more during the day. I also use timeout, when things get too rough, which honestly works. During the day each crate has the door open unless one or both misbehaves and then I put one or both in her crate with the door closed and ignore her for a few minutes. Then, they can come out if they behave. They actually know when I use the word timeout. So, try it, you might find it works for you. |
