I didn't say there weren't any good breeders in Missouri. There are five on the YTCA breeder referral list.

What I
did say is that Missouri is known as the Puppymill Capital of the US which is true, like it or not. You have to be extra careful to screen any breeder form that state since there are more puppymills there than in any other state.

And you are right. No matter where you get a puppy, you have to be very careful.
