I would highly recommend making sure your baby doesn't lick the stitches. Mine did maybe two or three times and when I took him to the vet he could tell I ended up having to put Neosporin after he got his stitches taken out. He's about 6 pounds so I bought a baby onsie (size 0-3 months) and put it on him so he wouldn't lick himself. I just cut a little hole for his tail and off he was playing like normal. It didn't bother him but just an idea for your little one good luck! I'm sure he'll be fine!
