My Mocha is in the same boat as Lexi! At his recent annual check-up, the vet noticed his double canines and told me they should be extracted. Like you, I'm really nervous about putting him under anesthesia again (he's only 3lbs). Mocha is 1 1/2 years old, so the vet said I can book the appointment any time, but I'm still unsure if I should go through with it

Do you know if this is something that's really neccessary, or would it be ok to leave it? Do you know what you're going to do if you have to make that decision?

The vet said to wait until she's about a year and has a checkup and then we will make a decision. I don't want her to go under anesthesia again. I'm hoping they will come out on their own...
Having her teeth pulled during her spay did not seem to bother Lexi at all. She ate some kibble that night when she got home, and seemed fine. If there was any discomfort, she didn't show it. |
