TY,

The post is only five months old, not a year! It was just brought to
my attention by a client. We did check each client, first all pups were
pre booked from time of pre-mating to 7 weeks clients fill out an
application. At seven weeks clients were allowed to start visiting and
bonding with their pups. Puppy and client spent bonding time from
weeks 7 through 12-18 depending on when the little one was ready.
We do NOT ever force wean any Graysons Yorkshire Terrier. And no
pup ever leaves our care prior to 12 weeks period. At 12 weeks of age
we have given worming meds at weeks 2,3,4,5,6,8,10, & 12. Fort Dodge
vaccines are given at 4 weeks neo-par, 6,8,10,& 12 full vaccines.
Each little one leaves our care with a 20X24 crate, stainless steel
food and water bowl, collar, lead, stuffed toy, hard chew toy, baby chew
keys, blanket, brush, food, water, care book, health records, vet check
cert., and on a spay/neut contract that also states that we will take the
little one back at any time during its lifetime without questions.
We had a very nice very large area at the market at a cost of $1200
per month, the reason for this we had "strangers" in our home to often
and it was uncomfortable at times. We have very recently added an office
onto our home and have closed our market store. Yes, I was aware of
the "look" of selling at a market may have. However, we were very careful
in our sanitation prior to any contact with our pups, along with we did
not hesitate to tell someone NO, period. At the time when we first went
to the market we were one of there persons with nice area's at the market.
By the time were left there were issues, major issues, with many of the
"others" selling mixed breed, designer breeds, ckc breeds. We left due
to these issues and only after I made every attempt with the help of a few
local Vets, the State Officials, and local, state, and U.S. Human Society
Officials, to no long term effects. Thats when we walked way so as we
would not be termed puppy mill. We only breed AKC Yorkshire Terriers,
and we only sell privately. I am very proud of our kennel, and the
Yorkshire Terriers we provide to our client who VERY often become friends.
I hope this will answer your questions or concerns. Take Care Steven
