It is so sad that these girls/women are used as guinny pigs just so the government makes a quick buck. I had my daughter at a very young age and my mom never sat with me and talked to me about sex. All she said was you better not be having sex, a few months later I was pregnant. I have told my daughter (shes 13) EVERYTHING that I have been through to get where I am today and we have spoken about sex and drugs. I always tell her if you think you are ready to have sex please come and tell me. while I know its going to be hard, whats harder....Mom I think Im ready or mom Im having a baby. I try to get her to realize that while being a pregnant teenager is hard there are options, If you have unprotected sex and catch genital herpes, HPV, HIV...theres no antibiotics that can cure you...there are no options. we have to be so open with our kids, especially in todays day and age.
