She seems to, none of the babies are crying, and she is always in with them keeping them warm, and everytime we check on them, they are latched on or sleeping quietly. None of them are ever crying.....not even this one making the sound. At the time we heard him this morning, he was in a pile with the other pups, and only one of the 7 was actually nursing....he wasn't even looking to nurse. I did pick him up, listened to him, tried to cuddle him a bit and then latched him on....he was making the same sound once he latched on and was drinking.....just a really "thick" sucking noise.
