I know there is a thread on this under the FAQs, but that was a couple years back. When I looked up the latest on Northwest (now part of Delta) I found that hyper-inflation has apparently hit us - even as the price of aviation fuel has gone back down...

Now it can be more expensive to take one of my 5 lb guys cross country round trip than it is for me to fly (and each weighs about 1/14th as much as I do, and did I mention they don't take up a seat?).

What a jip!!! Does anyone know of any airlines that offers better deals than this blatant rip off? I know there is the service animal scam, I read about that on the FAQ, but I dont really want to go there.

We should tell these airlines WE WON'T TAKE IT, but will consider their pet fees before we decide to choose their company.
