Also if I only spent 20 minutes to cut and sew it 1. it wouldnt be finished, 2 you would be lucky if it fit 3. it would probably fall apart before it even got on your dog. I take twice that just to cut because I like straight lines and proper layout. I take time, I have integrity and I charge a decent price. I use quality material and ribbions. I charge anywhere from 15 to 50 depending on what is used. Think about it if I use fabric that is 12 dollars a yard and another for accent at 9 dollars a yard and the accent is 17 a yard I would be making very little on a dress for 40$.
I know I am speaking for myself, but I would imagine the others that make and sell clothes would agree, for a cheap price you get lesser quality. And I hardly think any of us would do such a thing, otherwise we would never sell a thing!!
BTW I do feel the baby is over priced, because of his issues with the open fontanal and all. I hope she lowers her price someone will take proper care, or he gets lucky and finds a good mommy despite that price tag. |

Sigh... I never said a word about a specific person's dresses
And yes I have sewn dresses and yes I HAVE seen CRAPPY cheap badly made dog clothing for $40 a dress. I might also point out I have bought WELL MADE beautiful dresses with good material for $12.
THE POINT WAS.....it's up to the purchaser to decide if they want to purchase.
