I would never buy a puppy over the net. I want to see what I am getting upfront. I found Gus in a add via the net but I talked to the breeder. And we sent a bunch e-mail back and forth. They were very kind and answered any questions I had before even going to take a look. They opened up thier home to us and I felt very comfortable purchasing from them.

I would also never have a puppy shipped! For those of you who have, and things worked out just fine,,,, I am so happy for you. I am not all that trusting of a person and not willing to put a puppy though that. Going to a new home can be very stressfull on a puppy, I wouldn't want to add more stress then the poor thing has to go though.
