I'm not trying to say that she can't have the puppies. The point that I attempted to make is that there is no solace in the fact that the male is "smaller". Often the litter would be birthed without a problem if it weren't for the one puppy that couldn't make it out. that's the puppy that sends you to the emergency vet clinic at midnight to pay a thousand dollars to have one puppy removed.
