Did you check to make sure that she doesn't have a sticker in between her toes. Check carefully around each toe. Sometimes their is so much hair that you might not be able to see it, but feel carefully. Yorkies sometimes develope a luxating Patella, and I had a dog with them. It usually happens to the back feet only, so if she holding a front leg up, you don't have to worry about that. My vet told me that it's more commom for the older Yorkies to have this problem than to not have it, and they don't reccomend doing surgery on them. But you should try to make sure your dog doesn't have the opportunity to jump off high things. It's hard to make them rest! Good luck. |
