i switched this weekend from homecooking meals for sammy to the honest kitchen perference and raw. i bought the raw from a dog butcher who sells it right here on long island.
he loves it!
i am weening him off of the homecooked to the hk and raw.
he seems to be taking it quite good. his poops are nice and hard and not too much of it.
now, i am a bit confused on the directions of the hk. it says 1/4 cup up to 10 pounds and 1/4 cup of raw. so is that all is he supposed to eat is a 1/2 cup all day. they say to divide the mix in half. i thought it was too little, he is 7 lbs.
any have any advice?
do you also think i should buy a digestive thing for him?
do you think i should be worried about him getting sick from the raw? |
