Kidding aside, do you think they maybe didn't know what a 'ragdoll' looked like or how expensive they are (I love them too) and that made the difference. Did it say'ragdoll' in the ad or did you just know by looking at it?
With people losing their homes and all the dogs and cats in shelters, I think they should lossen up a bit. I don't want to bad mouth shelters either but I saw a little yorkie at a shelter and filled the application out a couple months after I lost Crystal. I loaded them down with information and pictures, great recommendations but they said 'no' because she died at 14 yrs old in an accident. I said doesn't it count that she had the best care for all those years and was treated like a queen. That little yorkie needed a home so badly but that was that. I really didn't want another for much longer than a couple months but when I saw this sad situation it changed my mind. It may have just been that rescue but I was much more sad for the yorkie than me.
