If your finance is only mildly affected and wants to have a cat too, then I would still keep trying ! a cat is a great compainion !
the rescue lady did screw you over, and I would be quite pissed off it it was me! She did not need to do that, but did not care that it would cause you great heartache in the end. I hate people who are dishonest ! You had every right to question her motivations , and ethics. Shame of her! I hope this does not discourage you from looking , and you will find the perfect kitty to bring home!
Best wishes to you, and I am sorry that that "rescue" did not work out, and for her to play mind games with you! That is totally wrong ! |
i am sorry that your son is so allergic to kitties.

don't feel too bad! you didn't know! i think a lot of people didn't know the cause of their allergies until they either get tested specifically for it, or if they move out of the house with the pets. so i think it's actually kind of common for people to not know about it.
is the allergy shot helping him? is he ok with his allergy problems? i know people's body chemistry really changes. i didn't use to get bad allergies in the summer, but now i get REALLY bad allergies, and it is JUST AWFUL!
the rescue thingy, thank you for your support!

i was really hoping more people that work at rescues could read my post and give me some insight to better understand what happened...
