Newborn babies cannot roll over or scoot. Many many many people do at some point, place a baby in the middle of a large bed to nap. Especially if the bed is closer to which room your planning on being in at nap time.
Mothers and fathers have to EAT....they DO have to shower, pee, poo, cook &.....they do have to sleep!!!!
How many of you that are over-analyzing and being overly critical were parents that NEVER took their eyes off their baby?? Did you not cook? did you not shower? did you not sleep?
Most infants usually room-in with their parents until they are old enough to be in their own room. Most infants dont even use their cribs as newborns.....they use bassinettes, which a dog could EASILY get into!! Does that make a neglectful parent?? Certainly does not. These people had only been parents a few weeks....give them a BREAK!!!
Accidents happen and thats exactly what this is--accident!!
MY gosh-i just cannot believe this harsh criticism. I hope and pray that these parents never find their way to this message board. They are going through the worst kind of grief that a parent could ever suffer through. Do you not think they are beating themselves up over this??? Im 100% certain they are!! They have to live with this everyday for the rest of their lives!! Com'on people!!! It was a terrible accident. AS with all accidents--hind sight is always 20/20.
Let me guess-if these parents decided to re-home their dogs before their twins were born-ya'll would have torn them up over that too??
Let those without sin cast the first stone!!! Judgementals need to get over themselves cuz nobody is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. |

couldn't have said it better myself
