Keely Momma, It might help to think of this public forum as a public room. Realize there are people and faces and hearts and feelings on the other side of the screen you are looking at. You are open to your opinion, but you said that at times you feel like slapping some of the people at your shelter in the face.
When you reply to a thread with a negative response, you ARE slapping the person in the face. Just because you can't see them, doesn't mean you aren't having the same effect. You do know how it feels, because people HAVE done the same to you.
There is an old saying "You can catch more flies with Honey than Vinegar!" There is great truth in that.
You have great passion, and if channeled correctly, you will use this to your advantage, and the advantage of the pet world. |
