When you contact Mary, ask her what the going rate for pet puppies from club members in your area is and if she knows or anyone with an available pup. Usually chapter breeder refrerral contact officers are very helpful. I also looked at the show results for your area and was able to cross match names from the breeders listed for the state of VA with the show results. This all points me into the direction that there are some breeders in your area that are breeding quality pups that fall within the standard. Take the information you get from there and start researching some of them. Be nice if you can find a local show and go see what they their lines look like. PM me if you need any help.
