As with us when the Vet prescribes a certain dose, Please give what is recommended. The symptoms you're describing could be many things including pain...He has had alot of dental work done. The vet gave him meds, Please give them to him. I know you're scared because of what happened to your other dog. But, Don't let this one go around in pain. Please call your vet before changing or stopping the dosages he put him on. You don't want him to hurt more!! Good-Luck to you both,
