Dogs are not different than people. Some of them are just not able to conceive. Is she a very active yorkie or a calmer girl? What are you feeding her? I think bitches that are active and on the nervous side might have a hard time conceiving and carrying a litter to term. Many bitches get pregnant but reabsorb their pups around 30 days after the breeding, especially if there is a lot of stress in their life. Diet is also very important for the brood bitch. It is very important, in my opinion to feed a quality food. It is best to avoid dog foods with soy in them because soy can effect the hormones.

I have to agree with Ladymom that if she has not got pregnant by now then it would be best to have her spay. You would not want to risk her getting pyometra.
