It would probably be best to put the cat food up higher even if you have to go buy a tower to do it. You can always schedule feed the Yorkie and make the cat stay out of the room while she is eating.
Brandi probably likes the cat food because it is higher in fat. It is okay for some dogs but too much fat for others can trigger pancreatitis. It is very unhealthy for the cat to eat the dog food because most of it lacks taurine which cats have to have.
