 Able to reason...
Hi... I'm new to YorkieTalk and this is my first post. Our Yorkie, Spanky, is nearing 10 years old but when he was just a few months old he amazed us with his ability to reason.
My wife was tossing a ball and a small Elmo doll across the room. Spanky ran after them, picked up the ball and looked at Elmo... he hesitated, then put down the ball, picked Elmo up in his mouth and proceeded to kick the ball back to her. He wasn't in complete control of the ball, but he sure had the idea.
Over the years, he has continued to do this as well as figure out other things. And, it seems he knows he is doing something special because he will strut like he is really proud of himself. What personalities they have!
