We've had Jacob for almost a month. We have him pottying outside when we are home, but have a pee pad in the kitchen while he is in there during the day and nighttime. He pees on the pad (and poops sometimes) on the pad at night and day, but when we are home and let him outside (whether it is for 1 hour or 2), he will go poop inside the house (we usually catch him before he pees). We would like him to go potty outside while we are home and on the pad while we are away or it is nighttime. We were thinking maybe we were confusing him by having him peeing on the pad and going outside, but we were afraid if we take the pee pad away during the day and night, he will think it is always Ok to potty in the house. Does anyone have any suggestions?
