We have visited a local Farm & Pet store and they carry several of the grain free foods (Innova EVO, Nature's Variety, The Taste of the Wild). We are switching our adult maltese/poodle to a grain free because she is constantly itching & licking herself. We have samples of all of the foods mentioned above.

Anyway, our yorkie pups are 8 weeks old and we are currently feeding Royal Canin. We'd like to switch them to grain free as well (we are considering the EVO & Instinct). I've read on dogfoodanalysis that because of the high protein content it might only be good for adults. Is it okay to feed puppies either of these? Should we wait until they are a bit older?
