There is a REASON that people didn't support and believe in Bush, and it goes far beyond disagreeing with his politics. I WILL say that he did the best he could and made the decisions that he believed were best. However, the economy wasn't like this when he got into presidency, so he must have something to do with it. and for THAT, I dislike him as president. I think he's a good man, but I do not think he was a fit president. on that note, I still respected him and supported him as President. I talked negatively of him, yes, but I respected him as my President.
You don't have to love the man -- of
course not -- but regardless of that he is YOUR President. You can spit on the ground he walks on, but you STILL need to respect him as President. We are so blessed to live a country where someone can say that they hate him without having their
tounges cut out!
It took YEARS to create this mess, and it's going to take President Obama a
lot of time to fix it. I am very concerned that people are going to wake up today and tomorrow, and when the country isn't back to normal, they're going to hate him.
You can't please everyone. Personally, I'm glad he doesn't try to please everyone, because right now he needs to focus on the tasks at hand - fixing our economy, improving our schools, and so on. Those things are our future. If they aren't 100%, then what is the point?
*phew* it's a little too early for me to go around ranting haha.
Whether you're happy with the results or not....he's the President and unless he screws up big time (which I, personally, highly doubt he will), he'll be the President for the next 4 years. We've not seen him screw anything up yet, so best to hope for the positive and hope he holds true, IMO.
