this is the first time the parents are taking care of the babies... We have lost a few because they would just peck at the newborns! I am too scared to try and handfeed .. Their are so many risks. I'll let the parents takes care of them, and when they are older start letting them get use to being held.
All day and night we get to hear the sound of little peeps . It is so adorable. That is why I know they are alive and thriving. YAY!  Both mom and dad are taking care of these babies, so I do not get to see them much yet! I believe are just days old. I will try and get some pictures, however do not want to disturb mom and dad! LOL, they probably would take my finger off ! |
Aww, that's so sweet that both are taking care of the wee ones. I wish we had a more "romantic" male, but he makes up for it by being the biggest clown ever. He holds his claw up and talks to it, moving his talons in and out like a sock puppet. Kinda reminds me of Mr. Garrison's "Mr. Hat" from Southpark. He doesn't just flirt with himself, he has his way with himself, the little pervert
. He has a vocabulary of about 65 words and phrases. I'd like to see him teaching the kids to talk.
I can't wait to see pics. And, I understand about taking your finger off - Cosmo will guard an empty box like an angry bear. It's pretty scarey.
