He doesn't deserve the status he had before. Being in the NFL makes him a celebrity. He had that position and we saw what he chose to do. He effed up-he made that decision, knowing the consequences. If I had children, I wouldn't want them looking up to someone like that, and I sure as hell wouldn't want them to see him regain what he once had just because he could grease a few palms, or whatever would get him back to where he was.
The same goes for other celebs (just because someone brought it up earlier) I don't think they should be rewarded for the negative attention they get with DUI's.
they should all get treated the same way anyone else would. If I got busted for dog fighting and animal cruelty, went to prison, then got out, I know I wouldn't be able to go back to working in the preschool I worked at.
