 At what age does a yorkie go into her first heat?
I'm just wondering because my girl is 7 months on the 23rd of Jan. (she gets spayed that day) and she has been licking and licking. I'm not sure if it's just a cleaning thing or if it is signaling something to come? What happens when it does come, how long does it last, what extra steps need to be taken, etc.? I've never owned a dog that has had a heat, they've always been spayed before then. |
