Yes, they definitely can have trachea issues. I had a red toy poodle for 16 years. I wish I had known about the potential trachea issues before I ever put him on a collar and leash. He did end up with collapsed trachea issues. Nothing too severe but again, I wish I would have known about harnesses. Good luck finding his owner OR good luck with your new pal!
