My dog (MOnday) was diagnosed as anorexic. She was 4 lbs. 4 oz (5 years old at the time) and had pancreatitis and was hospitalized in April '08 and hydrated for 3 days. My vet insisted on some crappy Hill's z/d kibble which the dog totally ignored.
A friend sent me
THE HONEST KITCHEN and my Yorkie ate it up so fast. Here we are now 8 months later and she weighs a healthy 6 lbs 2 oz. and looks great.
THK is a raw dehydrated food, all you do is add water. See the video link below.
We have never gone back to that vet, and life is good. Have a new vet and a healthier dog.
We use
FORCE because it is the one she prefers. I did try EMBARK and THRIVE but
FORCE seems to be the flavor of choice, but each dog is different.
I highly recommend THK.
here is a company that I found that has the best prices ....
Alpha Nutrition
