Well I did look at it again and I see what your saying. I was under the impression that it was a 4 panel cage shown. I didn't realize it was 8 panels. The picture just makes the "lid" look small. I may end up doing that then. I really don't like the 4x4 set up. I prefer the 2x8. Just to further seperate the potty pad, but I may just "do what I have to do" for the meantime :-) Thanks for pointing that out
