someone i know mentioned shaving toby down completely (like within 1/4 to 1/8 inch of hair left) to bring out the 'silver' at the roots. I was a little taken aback by it because he does get shaved periodically but to shave that close to the skin seems a little much. Eventually the hair will grow enough and need to get cut and most the black/grey that remains will be cut off, but i dont think that their is a need to shave completely............. is there any truth the the fact that some yorkie owners do this? or is this just an ignorant comment?
