I called American Airline... they had a lot of questions too!!! So I have to travel to Chicago to drop Haruka at Patti's house for a little over week because I have to travel to Japan and it was too late for quarantine. Anyway.. we called Airline to let them know about Haruka as a service dog. They give me such a hard time. I told them that I didn't have to answer all the questions and I have her vest, she is trained, and I have a doctor's prescription. I told him that I had a health issue so that doctor wrote a note for me to have Haruka for my emotional and physical well-being. Then he keeps saying that if you have a letter, it has to say that you have a mental health disability and the doctors are treating you for that.. blah blah blah.. They don't seem to get it... I said that she is trained to support me with my health issue and also emotional well-being.. and he goes "does she have a budge?" so I responded to him that I have a vest and I trained her. Then of course... questions go on and on and on.... At the end, he asked me if I had any questions, so I said "I wish this conversation was much shorter." I told him that I just flew with Delta with no problem.. .. Anyway I hope things go okay. My flight is this Friday.
