These goldens are family dogs. Were great with other dogs and there family has five kids. It all happened so fast. I was watching them. And when I turned to pour a glass of juice, they were both on top of her and ripping her apart. In the time it took me to get into the room right next to the kitchen, were i was (Its an open consept so I was watching them as i was in the kitchen) .. She didnt even do anything to provoke them. They just turned on her. She has been around pittbulls and rottweilers, and have never had a bad experiance. BUt goldens sent her to her death????? I dont undestand. I think i am still in shock even though it happened 4 days ago.

I am so sorry about Sophie, what a tragic thing to happen AND to have to witness. I once had one of my dogs be attacked, it is a terrifying experience, I'll spare the details, he hung on by a thread but Ive been leary of what any dog could do to other dogs from that moment on. I'll never forget and you wont either. I cant tell you how sorry I am.
