She is genetically programed to be a certain weight. You can't change that by feeding her more just like you can't keep a large puppy within the standard by starving him.

No the vet says she is fine, she is just small and not just in weight,small all around .Her dad weighs in at 2.5 and the mom I believe at 4lbs. My vet also told me he expects her to be at 2- 2.5 lbs ( something about doubling their weight at 14 weeks. Maybe, I'm the crazy one cuz i've never had such a small baby. I noticed just now how she wants her food to be very small to accommodate her tiny mouth, I Bought her the Royal canine tiny kibble and even that takes her a while to chew 1 piece . I wonder if like humans the size of the stomach is approximate in size to the size of her paw/hand.
