I have a 3-step for the living room so they can get up/down off the couches. Puddie will jump if he wants, but Bella will only use the stairs.
In the bedroom, I have a 5-step to gain access to the bed; they both have to use the steps because the bed's high. I run the stairs parallel to the foot of the bed as opposed to perpendicular: the trot up/down the stairs and make a 90* turn at the top. That way, it only sticks out about 12", taking up minimal space. |
