No you aren't the only one. That ASPCA ad of hers makes me sooooo sad, and tears at my heart. I haven't seen the new one yet. I've thought about doing it but just haven't volunteered for the animals yet either cuz I am afraid I couldn't handle it.
I'm the "wackjob" you may see at some Petsmarts that have a glassed in rescued cat adoption section talking to each & every cat individually, then addressing them as a group before I leave the room.
I stop in & visit them whenever I go shop at a Petsmart.
