My Moshi was doing the same thing with one of her hind legs. I had the vet look at it and she said it looked like she had a grade 2 luxaxtion and prescribed her teapils (Chinese herbs) that help strengthen joints and ligaments. We are going to observe it for now and see if gets better. She never appears to be in pain, just walks a little weird at times. I am pretty anti surgery, only if it is absolutely necessary as surgery isn't always an answer nor does it really fix the problem.
