This is the same Halo that they've been selling in Petco for awhile now....at least since I got Bella 7 mo. ago. I went on Petco's website to make sure it was the same thing I have seen every time I'm in there, and it is, but they've jazzed it up now with Ellen on their web page for that food:

Dog Food: Premium Dog Food, Puppy Food. Best Puppy & Dog Food Brands at PETCO

My dad asked me awhile back what I thought about, so I had to check it out to know. Here are the ingredients of the adult one:

Chicken, whole dry egg, pea protein, oats, vegetable broth, pearled barley, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols and citric acid), pea flour, chicken liver, wild salmon, flaxseed, salmon oil (preserved with mixed tocopherols), pea fiber, sweet potatoes, apples, blueberries, green beans, carrots, cranberries, zucchini, alfalfa, inulin, calcium sulfate, potassium chloride, salt, taurine, folic acid, zinc proteinate, iron proteinate, cobalt proteinate, copper proteinate, manganese proteinate, vitamin A supplement, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, choline bitartrate, niacin, pantothenic acid, ascorbic acid, riboflavin supplement, thiamine mononitrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, biotin, calcium iodate, lactobacillus acidophilus, bifidobacterium longum, enterococcus faecium, lactobacillus plantarum, sodium selenite

They look pretty good to me, with the exception of added salt, which is in about the middle of the list.....I thought manufacturers added salt to increase palatability due to poor ingredients, which doesn't make sense here to me at all??? Anyway, aside from added sodium which little dogs especially don't need, I think it looks like a pretty decent food....comparable to many good ones out there.

Just my 2c...
