aaww Claire..Twinkle will do absolutely fine!
Pixie was spayed in september..and I was in such a state over it..especially with her being so tiny! I went to my vet with a list of Q's..i'm sure he thought I was nuts!
he was very good though and answered each one and assured me that she would do fine...and she did..a little sleepy when she first came home..slept alot..she managed a little food..which was a relief as she had gone without for quite a long time and I was worried about her blood sugar..she drank water too.
She slept in our bedroom in her crate and she woke me early so I took her in the garden and she did a pee!
(another sigh of relief!)
within 24 hrs she looked like her normal self..she didn't so much as look at her incision
it all couldn't have gone any smoother..she also had 7 baby teeth removed, nails trimmed and microchipped while under the anaesthesia.
I will be thinking of you tomorrow..and i'll check in on this thread!
