The other thing, too, is that your little fella is still very young. I've been told that small puppies don't get complete control over their bladder until about 6 months old. (Sorry, can't recall exact source.) So there may be little accidents and such along the way, but don't let that get you discouraged.

thanks for the advice and so far he is doing good with the crate thing it is just keeping him in his crate most of the day for a week to get him used to it and to remember the back door is to potty and a bark means it too.. i know he is still a baby so it kills me to keep him in his crate all day but i can not deal with the accidents anymore.. i am a clean freak so we are def. working on this till he gets it down, haha!this morning he has started out great, he barked i took him out and he went potty but lets just hope i am not speaking to early and he has a horrible day!
