when milu was getting spayed, i brought her bed, a blanket (which i slept with the night before so she can smell mommy when she has to stay at the vets), and her little piglet. i left those things with the vet so that when milu is waiting for surgery and when she wakes up she will have something familiar to her and not be as scared.
(if you don't have a blanket, maybe your sweater or something with your scent)
also, write down questions you have for the vet to ask for when you pick up twinkle. i was so nervous when i picked up milu i totally didn't remember anything they told me! (write down medicine instructions if you are forgetful like me!)
