I've inherited a doggie door for my slider at my aparment for my deck. My thoughts are to put a pad out there for them to use, although I think they'll use my plant pots
I've also thought of getting or making a pet-o-potty type thing (box with some sod). Or maybe the litter box thing but I think Murphy will eat the little pellets..
I generally leave them free in the house with belly bands but I think that's actually hindering the process. My new idea is to gate them into the kitchen with pads during the day, give them access to the patio while I'm home and at night put Alphy in a band (he sleeps with me) and Murphy in the crate. I can't leave them with full access to the patio while I am gone or at night because they will bark at people.
Any ideas or suggestions? This is a new concept for us....
