I had a major scare today. My boss called me to go with her to her boss's office. Luckily on the way she told me that my job was changing but there were layoffs going on today and noone in my dept was hit. OMG.... my stomache was turning. I own my own house alone. If I lost my job, my house would quickly follow. I don't care what I do at this point for work, as long as I still have a job. I didn't get demoted or a decrease in pay... just a shift in the work I do. I was told it was done to KEEP my job safe. What a scare!!!!
