That is really sad that she kept her in a birdcage to sleep, it doesn't make sense why she needed to be in a cage like that on a table, and feeding her baby food instead of dog food.
The way the article sounded by saying it could be the owners ticket out of there, it seemed like she was only trying to capitalize off of the dog.
At least she can run free now
