Sounds like you ladies are very lucky! My fiance doesn't refer to himself as 'daddy' although I don't refer to myself as 'mommy' either But my fiance isn't too enthralled with Bailey to begin with, he's a 'big dog guy' and although I can tell he 'cares' for Bailey, he doesn't 'love' him or anything
