 cough in puppy that won't go away
My 12 week old yorkie has a cough that will not go away. I took her to the vet and they said it was an upper respiratory infection. They put her on amoxillin and children's cough syrup. She only has one dose left on her medicine, and she is not any better; in fact, she may actually be worse. She did seem to get better at first, but last night she coughed all night long. I called the vet and they said not to bring her back in until she had completely finished her meds. I am really worried. Is this normal? It seems like it should be getting better by now. She is eating fine, and playing lilke normal, but no one is getting much sleep around here. Please tell me this is normal,, and I am worrying entirely too much. |
